larger image Conoco Multipurpose R&O Oil is a rust and oxidation (R&O)-inhibited circulating oil developed for use in circulation systems, geared turbines, lightly loaded gearboxes and many other industrial applications. Multipurpose R&O Oil is available in eight viscosity grades: IS0 32, 46, 68, 100, 150, 220, 320 and 460. It is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base oils and select additives to provide oxidation resistance, protection against rust and corrosion, and mild wear protection. It is inhibited to minimize sludge and varnish formation, resulting in long service life. It protects system components against rust and corrosion, and provides mild wear protection to help increase equipment life. It has excellent water-separating properties to minimize the formation of emulsions, and is resistant to excessive foam buildup that can interfere with proper lubrication.
