larger image 76 T5X® Heavy Duty Monogrades are high-quality, low ash diesel engine oils designed primarily for use in high output 2-stroke cycle diesel engines. The low ash content helps minimize the formation of ash deposits on valve seats and faces and helps keep intake ports clean. The SAE 30, 40, and 50 grades are particularly recommended for use in Detroit Diesel 2-stroke cycle diesel engines in transit buses and marine fleets running on low sulfur diesel fuel. They may also be used in some heavy-duty commercial transmissions. The SAE 10W and 20W-20 grades are intended for use in hydraulic systems and hydrostatic transmissions in Caterpillar and other off-highway construction equipment. They are not recommended for use in engines. 76 T5X® Heavy Duty Monogrades SAE 30, 40, and 50 meet or exceed all the requirements of API CF-2 and CF, and are also recommended for use in applications specifying former API Service CD quality oils. The SAE 10W and 20W-20 grades meet API CF quality performance requirements.
