FOAMGLAS¬Æ HLB 1600 Insulation is a high-load-bearing cellular glass insulation designed for industrial applications requiring significant compressive strength and low thermal conductivity. It meets various standards, including ASTM C552 and military specifications, ensuring compliance for demanding environments. The insulation is noncombustible, nonabsorbent, and impermeable to water and vapor, making it suitable for cold and cryogenic tank bases, hot and high-temperature tank bases, and load-bearing pipe supports. It exhibits excellent dimensional stability and resistance to corrosion and chemicals, with a density of approximately 160 kg/m¬=. The product is available in standard SI and English dimensions, with thickness options ranging from 50 to 175 mm (2 to 7 inches).
