Onvio LLC Dojen™ Cycloidal Speed Reducer DM06 - 027

Description
All steel construction for operation at a wide temperature range. Constant contact on all cam followers for excellent load sharing, high shock load capacity, and consistent torsional stiffness. High capacity output bearing. Pre-loaded needle bearing cam follower assures zero-backlash. Flanged output for direct load mounting Dynamically balanced counterweight for high input speeds. One-piece dual reduction cam for a wide range of reduction ratios without stacking stages High reduction in a low profile design. True Zero Backlash Mectrol reducers are designed with cantilevered needle bearing cam followers and rollers- not with pins and bushings found in other cycloidal designs. This allows for a controlled pre-load between the cam and cam followers, assuring zero backlash. This design permits the pre-load to be maintained throughout the L10 life of the bearings. High Torsional Stiffness With every cam follower in contact at all times, the load is equally shared. This guarantees consistently high torsional rigidity independent of load position. Accuracy All bearings are precision class bearings. The cam follower bolt circles are held concentric to 0.0002". This gives positional accuracies down to seconds of arc. Low Compact Profile Mectrol reducers offer a hollow bore input and low profile design. Coupled to a pancake motor, they can be installed in the smallest of spaces. Wide Ratio Range Our ratios range from 9:1 to 256:1, with no change in the package size of the reducer. Thus, ultimate flexibility is available to designers. Shock Loads to 400% The reducer's load-sharing features allow it to withstand high shock loads, reversal loads, and E-stops without internal failure. Low Inertia Up to 8,000 RPM input speed is allowable, with high acceleration rates due to low input inertia. Quiet Operation With no gears to grind or wear, our reducers are much quieter than those with conventional gearbox technology. Lifetime Lubrication Mectrol reducers are grease lubricated and sealed for life. There are no leaks and there is no maintenance. They can also be mounted in any orientation for greater design flexibility. Fast Starts and Stops With exceptional stiffness, zero backlash and internal dampening, these reducers offer high speed positioning, reversing directions, fast starts and stops with very little settling time. Throughput and manufacturing efficiencies are increased. Custom Features are Standard Whether your application calls for a hot or cold temperature operation, a high corrosion resistant finish or standard finish, clean room compatibility, or any other specific requirement, Mectrol can meet your specifications.
