The MOC70P1 is a phototransistor optical interrupter switch with a 5.08mm slot width, designed for non-contact sensing in PCB mount applications. It consists of an infrared LED coupled to an NPN silicon phototransistor in a low-profile, injection molded housing. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +100°C, with a collector-emitter voltage rating of 30V and a continuous collector current of up to 20mA. Under test conditions of IF=30mA and VCE=10V, it delivers a typical collector current of 1.9mA and a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.40V. Turn-on and turn-off times are 20µs and 80µs respectively, with a 2.5kΩ load. It meets no specified environmental or safety standards beyond general operating ratings.
