The ML2021CS is a monolithic analog line equalizer designed for telephone applications, featuring adjustable slope, height, and bandwidth to optimize frequency response from 500 Hz to 6.4 kHz. It includes an on-chip anti-alias filter, a bypass mode, and operates with a low supply current of 6 mA from ¬±5V supplies. The device supports TTL/CMOS compatible interfaces and has a double buffered data latch for efficient data handling. The equalizer utilizes a switched capacitor filter architecture, allowing for programmable frequency response settings via a 14-bit serial input data stream. It is compatible with other Quarktwin products, such as the ML2003 and ML2004 logarithmic gain/attenuator, making it suitable for integrated applications. The ML2021CS is available in an 18-pin SOIC package and is rated for operation between 0¬8C to 70¬8C.
