The MC14013BDT is a dual type D flip-flop designed with MOS P-channel and N-channel enhancement mode devices in a single monolithic structure. Each flip-flop features independent Data (D), Direct Set (S), Direct Reset (R), and Clock (C) inputs, along with complementary outputs (Q and Q). This device operates within a supply voltage range of 3.0 Vdc to 18 Vdc and is capable of static operation, retaining its logic state indefinitely with the clock level either high or low. The output state is updated only on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. The MC14013BDT can drive two low-power TTL loads or one low-power Schottky TTL load across its rated temperature range of -55¬8C to +125¬8C. It also includes diode protection on all inputs to guard against damage from high static voltages. This flip-flop serves as a pin-for-pin replacement for the CD4013B, making it suitable for applications requiring shift register elements or toggle functions in counters.
