The FIN324CMLX is a 24-bit serializer/deserializer designed for ultra-low power operation, consuming approximately 4mA at 5.44MHz. It supports both single and dual display implementations, accommodating RGB or microcontroller interfaces without the need for an external timing reference. The device can function as either a serializer or deserializer, allowing flexibility in system design. It features dual strobe inputs for dual-display systems and supports a maximum strobe frequency of 15MHz. The operating voltage range is from 1.60V to 3.0V, with low power core operation between 2.5V and 3.0V. The FIN324CMLX also includes high ESD protection exceeding 15kV per IEC 61000 standards and offers power-saving burst-mode operation. It is available in a 40-terminal molded leadless package (MLP) and is suitable for applications such as mobile displays at QVGA or HVGA resolutions.
