The FDS4685 is a 40V P-channel PowerTrench MOSFET in an SO-8 package, designed for power management and load switching applications. It has a continuous drain current rating of -8.2 A and a drain-source on-resistance of 27 mΩ at -10 V gate drive, rising to 35 mΩ at -4.5 V. The device operates with a gate-source voltage up to ±20 V and has a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. Thermal resistance is 50°C/W when mounted on a 1 in² copper pad, and 125°C/W on a minimum pad. The MOSFET complies with RoHS standards and is not intended for life support or medical implant applications.
