The 74LVTH16501MEAX is an 18-bit universal bus transceiver designed for low voltage applications, operating at a supply voltage of 3.3V while being compatible with 5V systems. It features a combination of D-type latches and D-type flip-flops, allowing data flow in transparent, latched, and clocked modes. Control of data flow is managed through output-enable, latch-enable, and clock inputs. The device includes bushold data inputs, which eliminate the need for external pull-up resistors for unused inputs.
