WIREWOUND RESISTOR, 2 OHM, 225W, 10%; Resistance:2ohm; Product Range:D225 Series; Power Rating:225W; Resistance Tolerance:± 10%; Voltage Rating:4.595kV; Resistor Technology:Wirewound
Type 210 adjustable resistors are used for applications requiring settings at different resistance values. These wirewound resistors are equipped with a screwdriver adjustable lug, making them ideal for adjusting circuits, obtaining odd resistance values and setting equipment to meet various line voltages. These resistors have a vitreous enamel coating with a strip of uncovered wire that makes contact with the adjustment lug. One screwdriver adjustment lug is provided with each resistor. The hollow core permits secure fastening with spring-type clips, thru bolts or thru bolts with washers. They also offer the durability and flame resistance of vitreous enamel coating and all-welded construction. Tolerance: ±10%. Note: The stated wattage rating applies only when the entire resistance is in the circuit. Setting the lug at an intermediate point reduces the wattage by the approximate same proportion.
