The Nvent Hoffman Junction Box, part number 75M3815, is constructed from non-glass-filled polyester, providing superior UV resistance and excellent chemical resistance to a variety of solvents, alkalis, and acids. It is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, making it suitable for applications in corrosive environments. The enclosure meets multiple industry standards, including UL 508A and NEMA/EEMAC Type 4, 4X, 12, and 13, and has an IP66 rating for dust and water ingress protection. This junction box features a lightweight design, which is easier to handle compared to fiberglass alternatives. It includes an overlapping tongue-and-groove raised cover with a gasket for a secure seal, and a removable snap-hinge cover for easy access. The internal layout grid and molded-in embosses facilitate component mounting, while the adjustable panel blocks allow for height adjustments and installation of multiple panels.
