The TEX series is a potentiometric linear position transducer with an actuating rod, designed for process control and test lab applications. It features an aluminium housing, a stainless steel M5-threaded rod, and a conductive plastic resistance element with a precious metal wiper. Available electrical ranges are 10 to 300 mm, with nominal resistances from 1 to 12 kΩ. Linearity is up to ±0.05% for strokes ≥125 mm, and repeatability is 0.01 mm. Recommended wiper current is under 1 μA with a maximum applied voltage of 42 V. It is rated IP54 per DIN EN 60529, operates from -40 to +85 °C, and supports over 100 million movements. Electrical connections are 3-pin M8x1 connector or shielded 3-wire PUR cable (2 m or 5 m). Mounting options include central mounting (max. 5 Nm torque) or clamp mounting. A ball coupling is recommended for side-load-free operation.
