The IP6000 Series is an industrial-grade rotary potentiometer for continuous 360-degree rotation, sealed to IP65 with an anodized aluminum casing, stainless steel shaft, and ball bearings. It uses a conductive plastic resistance element and a precious metal multi-finger wiper, with a nominal resistance of 5 kΩ±20% and independent linearity of ±0.075% (±0.025% available). Repeatability is 0.007°, and it supports a maximum wiper current of 10 mA at up to 42 V applied voltage, with a protective 5.6 kΩ resistance between connections 2 and 5. The sensor operates from -40°C to +100°C, withstands shocks up to 50 g and vibration up to 20 g, and is rated for 100 million cycles. Maximum shaft loading is 45 N static or dynamic, with starting torque under 1.5 Ncm and maximum speed of 2,000 RPM. Weight is 180 g.
