The CEO hermetically-sealed package is designed to withstand a variety of environmental conditions. It is impervious to dust and moisture, both of which can cause degradation or failure to unprotected laser diode arrays. Available with output powers of up to 2.4 kW (QCW) or 40W (CW), the package is ideally-suited for laser illumination and laser range-finding applications. The package comes standard with a 10 kO thermistor that enables the user to monitor the temperature of the device. Other monitoring electronics are available upon request. In addition to this standard laser diode array, CEO can design and develop hermetically-sealed arrays in a variety of other configurations to meet customer requirements.
