The UB series consists of low-profile pushbuttons with snap-in or PCB mounting options, available in square or rectangular shapes, and featuring full-face or spot illumination with LEDs in red, amber, green, blue, or white. The switch has a snap-acting contact mechanism with break-before-make timing, a travel of 2.3 mm, and a nominal operating force of 1.9 N for single-pole models. Contact ratings are 5 A at 125/250 V AC or 0.4 VA max at 28 V DC for gold-plated contacts. The housing and base are made of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide and liquid crystal polymer rated UL94V-0. The part is recognized by UL when ordered with appropriate marking, and operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C for nonilluminated versions. Terminals are epoxy sealed, and the switch provides tactile and visible latching for circuit status.
