The S823 is a double pole, double throw toggle switch with screw terminals, rated for 30A resistive and 15A inductive loads at 125V AC, and 30A at 30V DC. It has a mechanical life of 50,000 operations and an electrical life of 25,000 operations. The contact resistance is 10 milliohms maximum, and the insulation resistance is 1,000 megohms minimum at 500V DC. The dielectric strength is 2,000V AC for one minute. Operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +70°C. The case is made of melamine phenol, the toggle is brass with chrome plating, and the bushing is brass with chrome plating. Mounting requires a panel thickness of 0.177" (4.5mm) and a torque of 2.94 Nm with double nut hardware. UL and CSA certifications are available when ordered with appropriate suffixes. The keyway is M4.5x6 and the overall dimensions include a 12.5mm diameter mounting hole.
