NKK Switches Subminiature Slide AS22CP

The AS series consists of subminiature slide switches designed for low-voltage, logic-level circuits, with a subminiature footprint that is one-third the size of Series M switches. The switches feature a metal-to-metal STC contact mechanism offering positive detent actuation and enhanced reliability. Terminals are spaced at 0.100" x 0.100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) and conform to standard PCB grid spacing. Actuators are made from glass fiber reinforced polyamide, and housings include an antistatic carbon-blended polyacetal upper case. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance is 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC, and dielectric strength is 500V AC for one minute. The switches operate with a nominal force of 2.55N, support nonshorting contact timing, and are rated for 50,000 mechanical and electrical operations. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. Soldering is recommended via wave soldering. These switches are not UL or CSA certified.
