The A Series is a family of sealed subminiature rocker switches designed for low-voltage, low-current logic-level applications. The switches feature a totally sealed body construction, nickel-plated brass actuators, glass fiber reinforced polyamide housings, and gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts. They have a 26° angle of throw, nonshorting contact timing, and a nominal operating force of 2.73N for momentary and 1.84N for maintained circuits. Electrical capacity is 0.4VA maximum at 28V AC/DC, with contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum. The mechanical life is 100,000 operations for On-None-On and On-Off-On circuits, and 50,000 for other circuits. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. Terminals have a 2.54mm x 2.54mm spacing and are designed for wave or manual soldering. The switches are not UL or CSA certified.
