The TO9-147-161 Laser Diode is a popular Fabry-Perot laser diode with a typical center wavelength of 1550nm ±20nm, with 1.6 Watts CW output power. When operated in pulsed mode has a center wavelength of 1550nm ±20nm (14 watts peak pulsed) in a standard TO-9 package. It is multimode, which allows for high coupling efficiency into optical fibers. A grounding wrist strap, such as the FK-STRAP , is recommended when handling the laser diode.
