Newport MKS Light Tight Enclosure, 24 x 24 x 16 inch Tall LTE-22

The LTE-22 Light Tight Enclosure inhibits disruptive acoustic energy and dust from reaching table optics, improves reconstruction brightness, permits longer exposures and lowers laser power requirements. This 24 x 24 inch enclosure is a combination 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) thick black hardboard side panels and an extruded rail system forming a light tight box 16 inches tall. The top of this enclosures is attached securely using two sturdy latches and can be easily removed for fast and unobstructed access. Compared to competitor's light tight boxes, Newport's design is better light tight, with latches and cushions along the perimeters of the panels. Each panel is framed with sturdy extrusions on all sides, making sure that the enclosure structure sits stable around your applications. Some of the competitor designs do not include the extrusion frame around the bottom of side panels, therefore may create gaps that leak light into the box. Complete enclosures are shipped partially pre-assembled and can be easily assembled in less than 30 minutes.
