The LGI630-6 GRIN Lens has a 0.29-pitch lens that is useful for fiber-to-fiber, laser-to-fiber, and fiber-to-detector coupling. This SELFOC® radial gradient index oxide glass general purpose plano-plano lens has a 1.8 mm diameter, a 5.37 mm length, a 0.46 NA, and is antireflection coated to provide maximum transmission at 630 nm. Gradient index micro lenses have a radially varying index of refraction that causes an optical ray to follow a sinusoidal propagation path through the lens. They combine refraction at the end surfaces along with continuous refraction within the lens.
