Newport MKS Optical Fiber, Singlemode, 780-830 nm, 0.10-0.14 NA F-SE

Description
The F-SE Single-Mode Fiber is all-glass and supports single-mode light propagation for a 780 - 830 nm operating wavelength range. This low attenuation, step-index fiber has a uniform core refractive index and a matched-clad profile. It has a 0.10 to 0.14 NA, a 5.4 μm Mode Field Diameter, a 125 μm Cladding Diameter and a 245 μm Coating Diameter. Typical applications include sensors, instrumentation, device pigtailing, and light delivery. This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter. The following volume discount schedule is applied when ordering continuous lengths of optical fiber: 10 - 49 m: 15%, 50 - 99 m: 22%, 100 - 499 m: 25%, and ≥ 500 m: 28%. Medium and High NA Available These specialty fibers are available with medium and high Numerical Aperture (NA) to give dramatically reduced bend losses in comparison with telecoms fibers. This allows smaller packaging sizes to be achieved, particularly useful for coiled sensors and the next generation small form factor telecoms equipment. Bare Fiber Construction Custom Singlemode Patch Cables Use Model Number F-PATCH-CUSTOM to configure a custom fiber-optic patch cord using these fibers. You can specify the fiber type, length, jacketing, and input and output connectors.
