Newport MKS Aspherical Lenses, Achromatic, 12.50 mm Diameter, 20.00 mm EFL APAC13

Description
The APAC13 Achromatic Aspherical Lens is a 425 to 675 nm antireflection coated (front surface), 0.49 inch (12.5 mm) diameter, N-LaK8 and N-SF57 achromatic doublet lens with an effective focal length of 20.0 mm. The back surface has a molded aspheric polymer cap with a protective seal. This achromat is computer optimized to provide optimal color correction and the smallest RMS spot size close to the diffraction limit. These lenses can be used within the wavelength regime of 400-2000nm. However, the color and spherical aberration correction is only optimized over the wavelength regime of 400-700nm. The Aspherical achromatic lenses not only have superior color correction comparing to standard achromats, but also has very similar spherical aberration corrections to those of machined aspheres. To reduce the wavefront errors arising from the standard achromats the second surface of these aspherical achromats are fused with a molded polymer surface. It is an ideal choice for Imaging, Microscopy, Fiber coupling, and Scanning and other applications that use a broadband laser or normal light sources.
