Newport MKS Kinematic Breadboard Adaptor Set, Adjustable AKP-AJ

The AKP-AJ Kinematic Breadboard Adapter Set is designed to extend the function of kinematic bases to SA2 series breadboards. Unlike the AKP-FX fixed adaptors, these adaptors include 100-TPI adjustment screws to provide fine angular adjustment and height of the breadboard. The adjustment screws have position locks to preserve the final alignment of the breadboard. (Note these adjustment screw locks do not lock the breadboard to the bases as do the AKP-FX Fixed Kinematic Breadboard Adaptors). The adaptors mount directly to SA2 series breadboards either on the top side or bottom side of the breadboard. Top-side mounting provides the lowest surface height but leaves less mounting area on the breadboard. Bottom-side mounting provides the most mounting surface area on the breadboard but increases the surface height. The AKP-AJ includes three top plates and three bottom plates. SA2 breadboards are sold separately.
