The 74001 Micrometer Driven Slit Assembly allows continuously variable width from 4 μm to 3 mm, and continuously variable height from 3 mm to 12 mm with ±10 μm repeatability. ±10 μm accuracy from 4 to 250 μm, and ±5% accuracy from 250 μm to 3 mm can be achieved. This slit assembly uses a precision micrometer drive to adjust the width. All monochromators and spectrographs require one input slit. Monochromators also require slits at each output port. It is recommended to match the type of slit assembly at the input and output ports on the device, where applicable.
