The Current Loop Indicator, model 508B, is a two-wire device designed for use in process control environments. The indicator features a liquid crystal display with 3.5 active digits, adjustable zero and span settings, and the ability to display readings in either percent or engineering units. This model is rated for operation in harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C and a waterproof rating of 35 kPa (5 psi). The die-cast metal housing provides durability against high vibration and shock, making it suitable for demanding applications. The 508B also includes FM intrinsic safety certification, allowing it to be used in hazardous environments when paired with an intrinsic safety barrier.
