Century Spring Corp. CDM Series Disc Springs CDM-25012712

Description
A disc spring (sometimes called a "Belleville washer" after the inventor) consists primarily of a convex disc supported at the outer periphery by one force and an opposing force on the center of the disc. Disc springs are used singly, or in stacks, to achieve a desired load and travel. The advantage of a disc spring is that it generates high force in a very short spring length and with minimal movement when compressed. All Century Spring disc springs are subject to exacting manufacturing and quality control standards. All discs are preset so that they will not significantly relax under load over time. Century Spring also offers pre-stressed disc springs specifically sized for use with bolts.

The CDM-25012712 is a disc spring from the CDM Series by Century Spring Corp. It features an outer diameter of 9.840 inches and an inner diameter of 5.000 inches, with a thickness of 0.4430 inches and a height of 0.3212 inches. This disc spring is designed to handle a load of 20,008 lbs at 25% deflection, with a corresponding deflection of 0.0803 inches. At 50% deflection, it can support a load of 35,617 lbs with a deflection of 0.1606 inches, and at 100% deflection, it can handle 59,503 lbs with a deflection of 0.3212 inches. The stress values at these load levels are 89, 168, and 237 x 10^3 psi, respectively. This product is suitable for applications requiring high force in a compact spring length, making it ideal for various engineering projects.
