AI Series springs are designed to maintain load tension in light bolted assemblies, where a constant load is required. Although this series is primarily designed for bolted applications, they may also be used in dynamic applications as long as the application does not exceed the designated stress limits. Like the AM series the AI parts are typically manufactured from High Carbon or Alloy Steel; AISI C1075 or 6150 material.
