The Multicomp Pro 1OºF, 250V film capacitor features a metallized polypropylene film construction, which provides low loss at high frequencies and a small inherent temperature rise. It is designed for use in high-frequency, DC, AC, and pulse circuits, making it suitable for applications such as S-correction circuits in large screen monitors and color TVs. The capacitor has a rated temperature of +85¬8C and operates within a temperature range of -40¬8C to +105¬8C. It offers a capacitance tolerance of ¬±5% and a voltage proof of 1.6 times the rated voltage for 5 seconds. The insulation resistance is rated at a minimum of 100,000 MOc for capacitance values up to 0.33OºF. The leads are made from tinned copper-base alloy wire, and the coating is a flame-retardant epoxy resin. This capacitor is RoHS compliant and is suitable for applications requiring high-frequency and high-current pulse handling.
