MOXTEK, Inc. Pixelated Polarizer

Description
Pixelated Polarizers Moxtek® has added versatility to polarization applications with development of Pixelated polarizers, designed using Moxtek Nanowire® Technology. These patterned polarizers are available as two, three and four-state devices for polarimetric imaging. Polarization helps to acquire more information from an obscured image to enable clearer imaging. With Pixelated Polarizers, multiple polarizations across the visible and into IR wavelengths can be gathered real-time. This enables 3D imaging technology and extreme low light imaging. These micro-patterned polarizer arrays can be aligned with focal plane arrays or microbolometers, or used in applications where it is desirable to change polarization angles without a complex mechanical polarizer switching mechanism. Typical Optical Performance: Transmission: > 80% @ 550 nm, Achievable transmission will depend in part on the desired array structure details. Contrast Ratio: >50:1 @ 550 nm, Achievable contrast ratio will depend in part on the desired array structure details. Bandwidth: 300 nm to 5 μm. This is substrate and AR coated dependent. Substrate Thickness: 0.7 mm standard Substrate Materials: Glass, fused silica, silicon
