The 2N6438 is a PNP silicon power transistor for industrial-military switching and amplifier applications. It has a minimum collector-emitter sustaining voltage of 120 Vdc, a continuous collector current rating of 25 Adc, and a maximum power dissipation of 200 W at 25°C case temperature. Housed in a TO-204AA (TO-3) metal package, it exhibits a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.8 Vdc at 25 Adc and a DC current gain of at least 12 under the same condition. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 0.875°C/W. Operating and storage junction temperature ranges from -65°C to +200°C.
