Montalvo’s digital S-3110 closed loop tension controller employs a proprietary Diamatic control algorithm which insures uniform control response regardless of roll diameter. It may be used in unwind or rewind tension applications and provides fast, precise tension control. Functionally identical to the S-3100 (except for the analog display), it works well in limited space, OEM and existing cabinet installations.
Users may select the performance features best suited to an application from a wide variety of control tools. S-3110's non-volatile memory stores all settings in the event of a power failure. In addition, the control can store and recall up to fifteen sets of control parameters for different materials. LEDs provide status information on Tension On/Off, Auto/Manual, Soft Start and Anti-Coast.
