Montalvo's M-3224 is used to monitor and indicate the exact tension in a moving web by amplifying load cell signals. Features: 24 Volt Operation Works with semiconductor type load cells PLC, PC and Servo Ready The output can be used to drive a digital or analog tension meter and can also be interfaced to a PLC, a PC, or a DC, AC or servo drive. The M-3224 module works with semiconductor strain gauge load cells. It monitors and indicates total web tension and is suitable for use in most applications involving slitters, coaters, rewinders, embossers and printing and label presses. The M-3224 utilizes 24VDC power provided by most PLC and machine control circuitry
