The MoffittVent uses internal drain gutters and downspouts to redirect incoming rainwater away from the opening and on to the roof. This keeps water out of the building irrespective of wind speed and intensity. The ventilator actually performs better in higher wind velocities as airflow increasing along with wind speed.
