Modern Linear Double Edge Track offers a compact alternative to two single edge tracks. Installation is easier and quicker than single edge track because there are no issues regarding parallelism. The rigid cross section allows for fewer fasteners and the ability for unsupported track to bridge a gap.Double track can be used with guide roller and bushing components for a compact, integrated system. Alternately, it can be ordered as part of a pre-engineered and pre-assembled linear guide that includes a spacer and complete carriage.Designed with two 90° v-edges, standard double track is made from AISI 1045 steel. The v-edge of Modern Linear double track is case hardened to 49-52 Rc. The remaining unhardened track is ideal for drilling mounting holes or other machining. Double track is stocked with and without holes in 146" lengths. Stock, drilled track has industry standard hole size and spacing for ease of mounting. Custom hole size and spacing options are available. Additionally, alternate double track treatments including black oxide, thin dense chrome, and PTFE coating may be special ordered.
