The TS437TBY120A Flexible Thermal-Ribbon,Ñ¢ sensor from Minco is designed for surface mounting on pipes, eliminating the need for thermowells and associated installation costs. When properly installed and insulated, it offers accuracy and response comparable to traditional thermowell assemblies. The sensor features a silicone rubber body with a polyimide backing, ensuring durability and flexibility. It operates within a temperature range of -62 to 200¬8C for RTD applications and -45.5 to 135¬8C for thermistor applications. The leadwires are AWG 24 and made of silicone rubber, providing moisture resistance that meets MIL-STD-202, Method 104, Test Condition B. Optional accessories include a stainless steel braid for abrasion protection and pressure-sensitive adhesive for easier mounting on smooth surfaces.
