Minco Averaging Duct S475PFY24

Description
Sense temperature of air streams in ducts and plenums. Sensors include a junction box with gasket to prevent leakage and vibration noise. These sensors have a continuous element to sense true average temperature along their entire length. They provide accurate composite readings in locations where air may be stratified into hot and cold layer s. Rigid averaging sensors have a brass case. Bendable models have aluminum sheaths (copper on special order), formable to a radius of 4". Bendable sensor s can criss-cross ducts to average temperatures in tw o dimensions.

The Averaging Duct S475PFY24 from Minco is designed to sense the temperature of air streams in ducts and plenums. It features a continuous sensing element that provides accurate average temperature readings, making it suitable for environments where air stratification occurs. The sensor is available in rigid and bendable models; the rigid version has a brass case, while the bendable model is constructed with aluminum sheaths that can be formed to a radius of 4 inches, allowing for versatile installation options. The temperature range for the probe is -45.5 to 135¬8C (-50 to 275¬8F), with the gasket rated for a maximum of 100¬8C (212¬8F). The leadwires are 8 inches long, made of AWG 22 PTFE insulated material, and the product meets moisture resistance standards as per MIL-STD-202, Method 104, Test Condition B. Special options include lengths up to 100 feet, sensor-only configurations, weatherproof connections, and thermistor averaging sensors.
