Their built-in lubrication makes them ideal for any application where the parts being molded prohibit the use of external lubricants, such as medical, electronic and food-related products. Constructed of an aluminum-bronze alloy with oil-impregnated graphite plugs, Self-Lubricating Bushings reduce wear and galling, lower maintenance and repair costs, and eliminate contamination concerns in clean-room environments. They are interchangeable with comparably sized D-M-E steel or bronze-plated bushings.

D-M-E Bronze-Plated Shoulder Bushings are precision ground and feature internal oil grooves and bronze-plating for smooth, non-galling operation. Available in-stock with nominal inside diameters ranging from 3/4" to 3", D-M-E Bronze-Plated Shoulder Bushings undergo rigorous quality assurance and control measures to provide the consistency and reliability that have made D-M-E the hallmark of mold technology products.
