DME Company Hot Sprue Bushing High Performance Tip

DME Straight-Shot and High-Performance Straight Shot Hot Sprue Bushings are designed to reduce cycle times and save material costs. The DME Straight-Shot Hot Sprue Bushing is available in S-Series, and E-Series (short and long styles). The E-Series provides an extra .25" extra stock allowance on the front face to permit machining of runner profiles or part contours into that face. The Straight-Shot Hot Sprue Bushings have a variety of spherical radii options for mating to a machine nozzle tip. Please see the DME Catalog for more details. The DME Straight-Shot Hot Sprue Bushing is also available in both SR-, ER- (short and long styles) and T-Series types. Similar to the S- and E-Series respectively, the SR- and ER-Series feature a "reverse taper" design that originates from under the heat source, providing easier start-ups. The T-Series improves the performance of three-plate molds by virtually eliminating the sprue from the runner system, and is available with either a 7/8" or 1-3/8" long stripper plate bushing to suit the application. Please note that a pin or plate (key) is used to hold the position of the T-Series bushing. This key is retained under the locating ring. Please see the Page 169 of the DME Catalog for details.
