The Model 240 provides a simple low cost loop powered 8-28 Vdc two wire 4-20mA Transmitter with highly visible local display allowing for monitoring at the unit and in the control room. The transmitter utilizes the same CSA, UL and ATEX rated sensor and explosion proof housing as on the Models 220 and 240 explosion proof switches. Classification for Division 2 locations provides another alternative to the installer that does not like additional junction boxes which are required for flying lead interfaces.
