ARMATEX® SF 32 is a silicone-coated fiberglass fabric designed for thermal insulation, flame resistance, and weld splatter protection in demanding environments. It has a nominal weight of 32 oz/sq yd (1085 g/sq m), a thickness of 0.035 in (0.89 mm), and is available in widths of 38 in (0.965 m) or 60 in (1.524 m). The base fabric is rated to 1000°F (538°C), with the silicone coating rated to 450°F (232°C) under continuous exposure and capable of transient exposure up to 600°F (315°C). Standard roll size is 50 linear yards (45.72 m) weighing 173 lb (78 kg). It meets MIL-I-24244, MIL-C-24576 (SH), ASTM E84.84a, and ASTM E162 standards.
