Microsemi Corp. IGBT Modules APTGL40H120T1G

The APTGL40H120T1G is a full-bridge IGBT power module designed for high-frequency applications such as welding converters, switched-mode power supplies, uninterruptible power supplies, and motor control. It features Trench + Field Stop IGBT4 technology with a 1200 V collector-emitter breakdown voltage and continuous collector current of 40 A at 80°C case temperature. The module has a Kelvin emitter for simplified drive design, very low stray inductance, and an integrated NTC thermistor for temperature monitoring. It is mounted directly to a heatsink with a reinforced isolation of 4000 V RMS and a thermal resistance from junction to case of 0.68°C/W for the IGBT. The package is RoHS compliant, solderable, and has a flat profile with a weight of 80 g. Operating junction temperature ranges from -40°C to 175°C, and it meets AEC-Q200 and UL 94 V-0 standards.
