The U2741B-NFB is a PLL transmitter IC designed for low-cost RF data transmission systems, operating within a frequency range of 300 MHz to 450 MHz and supporting data rates up to 20 kBaud. It is suitable for both Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) and Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) modulation schemes. The device features a supply voltage range of 2.0 V to 5.5 V for temperatures between -20¬8C to 70¬8C, and 2.2 V to 5.5 V for -40¬8C to 85¬8C. This transmitter offers high frequency accuracy compared to traditional Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) solutions, enabling receivers to operate at lower bandwidths. It is packaged in a compact SSO16 format, requiring minimal external circuitry, and includes an XTO output for microcontroller clocking.
