The TC4428COA is a dual high-speed power MOSFET driver capable of delivering a peak output current of 1.5A. It operates within a wide input supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and can drive capacitive loads of up to 1000pF in approximately 25ns. The device features short delay times, with typical values of 40ns, and matched rise and fall times, ensuring efficient switching performance. It has low supply current requirements, drawing 4mA with a logic '1' input and 400µA with a logic '0' input. The TC4428COA is designed with robust protection features, including latch-up protection against reverse currents of up to 0.5A and the ability to withstand negative inputs up to 5V. It is also ESD protected up to 2.0kV. The product is available in space-saving 8-pin MSOP and DFN-S packages, making it suitable for applications such as switch mode power supplies, line drivers, and pulse transformer drives.
