The device includes an adjustable guard time, automatic tone burst mode, and call progress tone detection down to -30 dBm. This transceiver utilizes a switched capacitor D/A converter for accurate DTMF signaling and incorporates a call progress filter, allowing for the analysis of call progress tones. It is applicable in systems such as credit card processing, paging, mobile radio repeaters, interconnect dialers, and personal computers.
