The MIC5320-SJYMT-TR is a dual ultra low-dropout (ULDO,Ñ¢) linear voltage regulator designed for portable electronics, providing two independent outputs of 150mA each. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V and features an ultra-low dropout voltage of 35mV at 150mA. The device is housed in a compact 6-pin 1.6mm x 1.6mm Thin MLF® package, which is significantly smaller than traditional packages, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. This regulator is stable with a minimum output capacitance of 1µF, allowing for the use of small ceramic capacitors, which can help reduce overall board space and component costs. The MIC5320 also boasts low quiescent current of 85µA per output, fast turn-on time of 30µs, and includes thermal shutdown and current-limit protection features. It is suitable for applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, GPS receivers, and portable media players. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +125°C, ensuring reliability in various environments.
