The MIC2560-1BWM TR is a power distribution switch designed for PCMCIA applications, providing a complete VCC and VPP switch matrix in a single integrated circuit. It operates without the need for external components and is compatible with industry-standard PCMCIA controllers. The device features break-before-make switching to prevent voltage overshoot and switching transients, along with output current limiting and overtemperature shutdown for enhanced safety. This switch can handle output currents of over 1A for VCC and 200mA for VPP, with digital selection of VCC (3.3V and 5.0V) and VPP (0V, 3.3V, 5V, or 12V) voltages. It includes a digital flag for error condition indication and operates with ultra-low power consumption, drawing only 0.01µA in sleep mode. The MIC2560 is packaged in a 16-pin SOIC format and is suitable for various applications, including power supply management, wireless communications, and data-collection systems.
