The MIC2212-GMBMLTR is a dual low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator designed for battery-operated applications. It features two outputs, with the first capable of sourcing 150mA and the second sourcing up to 300mA. The device operates within an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V and offers a low dropout voltage of 80mV at 100mA. It has an ultra-low quiescent current of 48µA, making it suitable for energy-sensitive applications. The MIC2212 includes a power-on reset (POR) function that monitors the output voltage of the second regulator and provides an active low signal when the output is within 5% of its nominal value. The delay for the POR can be adjusted using an external capacitor. The regulator is stable with small ceramic output capacitors, which helps reduce board space and component costs. It is housed in a compact 10-pin 3mm x 3mm MLF package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
