The MIC2026 is a high-side MOSFET switch designed for general-purpose power distribution with a temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. It features a maximum on-resistance of 140m,Ѷ per channel and supports an operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, allowing for a continuous current of at least 500mA per channel. The device includes built-in short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown capabilities to safeguard both the device and the load. Additionally, the MIC2026 incorporates soft-start circuitry to minimize inrush current, making it suitable for applications with highly capacitive loads. It also provides a fault status output flag that indicates overcurrent and thermal shutdown conditions, with transient faults filtered internally. The device is available in both 8-pin DIP and SOIC packages and is RoHS compliant. Typical applications include USB peripherals, notebook PCs, and ACPI power distribution.
